Ski & Snowboard Trip

February 14 - 16, 2024


Mont Sainte-Anne is one of the premier ski resorts in Eastern North America - with abundant snowfall, amazing views and terrain for all levels of skiers and riders.

Students attending the LMAC Ski 2024 will be staying at Condos Vacances MSA, situated 2 km from the base of Mont Sainte-Anne. There is a limited amount of space and applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

All participants will receive a 1.5 hour group lesson on the first day of the trip.  For intermediate and advanced levels it will serve as a refresher course and mountain familiarization.  Beginners will be given a 2nd lesson on Day 2.

The trip includes:

  • Deluxe coach bus transportation to/from Montreal, plus transfers between the condos and Mont Sainte-Anne
  • Condo accommodations for two nights
  • Lift tickets: 3 days at Mont Sainte-Anne
  • One supper meal at a traditional Cabane à sucre on Thursday evening (Le Relais des Pins)
  • Ski instruction for beginner/novice levels
  • Trip cancellation insurance (for medical reasons only) - see information below

Wed. Feb.14

07h30 ​ Bus will arrive at Laurier MacDonald HS 7355 boul. Viau, Saint-Léonard, Qc

08h00 ​ Departure from LMAC

12h00 ​ Arrival at Mont Sainte-Anne at Condo Vacances Mont Ste- Anne 355 rue Dupont, Beaupré, Qc G0A 1E0.  

​Baggage into storage or check-in to condos if they are ready.  Leave your ski equipment on the coach bus.

12h30 ​ Coach bus to Mont Sainte-Anne

13h00 ​ Students needing equipment rentals will go with the Ski Evolution Guide to Sports Alpins (located at the base of the mountain)

13h30 ​ Lesson 90 min. for all levels

17h00 ​ Return to the condos by coach bus

17h15 ​ Check-in completed and supper in the condos (bring food from home)

19h00 ​ Evening activity: Coach bus to the mountain.  Beginner students will be required to stay on the large magic carpet.

20h30 ​ Coach bus back to the condos for students out night skiing

Thurs. Feb.15

08h30 ​ Report to the teacher’s condo for your lift ticket (as a condo group).

​Students who had lessons on Day #1 will receive their lift ticket from their instructor during their 2nd lesson.

09h00 ​ Coach bus to the base of the mountain.  Lifts open at Mont Sainte-Anne

09h30 ​ Novice lessons (round #2) – 90 min.

15h45 ​ Return your rental equipment to Sports Alpins.  

16h00 ​ Coach bus back to the condos. Return to the teacher’s condo to retrieve your condo key.

17h30 ​ Coach bus transfer to a Sugar Shack on Ile d’Orléans  (Le Relais des Pins, 2013 Ch. Royal, Ste-Famille, Ile d’Orléans)

18h15 ​ Traditional Cabane à Sucre supper with folk music (included)

19h45 ​ Return back to the condos

22h00 ​ No noise after 10:00 p.m. - students to remain in condos.

Fri. Feb.16 

08h00 ​ Breakfast.  Condo cleanup (incl. dishes cleaned, garbage outside)

09h00 ​ Condo inspection by teachers.

09h15 ​ Load your luggage on the coach bus.  Condos need to be vacated.

09h30 ​ Coach bus to Mont Sainte-Anne

14h30 ​ Return your rental equipment to Sports Alpins

14h45 ​ Departure for Montreal

18h30 ​ Arrival at LMAC


Lodging

CONDOS VACANCES MSA: Spacious condos with a full kitchen and fireplace. Each two bedroom unit will accommodate 5 or 6 persons. 1 queen bed, 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed. Outdoor heated pool & hot tubs, sauna and arcade.

2 km from the base of the mountain. Bus transportation will be provided.

Transportation by deluxe coach bus

Amenities included: washroom, TV-DVD, comfortable seats and large luggage compartments. Relax and enjoy the ride to the slopes!

Departure: 08h00 AM on February 14th (please arrive at school no later than 7:30 am)

Return: approx 6:30 pm on February 16th

Cost & Payment

Package Cost per student: $534   (taxes included) Based on a minimum 40 students.  Costs may lower if more than 40 students register.

Payment schedule: ​$300 deposit due at the time of registration

​     Balance ($234 approx.) due by January 15, 2024​


Payment: Please complete the Online Registration Form and within 48 hours drop off your payment (cash or cheques) to Ms. Manago. Please write your name, phone # & "LMAC Ski Trip 2024" on the front of your cheques. Make your cheques payable to Ski Evolution Inc.  Both cheques due at the time of registration.

A $15.00 service charge will be applied for any cheque returned by our financial institution.

Trip Cancellation: 

Trip cancellation insurance for medical reasons is included in the package cost.  The cancellation insurance offers a full refund ONLY for medical reasons and/or a Covid-19 infection.  Cancellation requests must be supported by a doctor's note at the time a claim is requested.  This cancellation insurance does not provide coverage for cancellations due to removal from the trip for poor behavior or disciplinary reasons, lack of interest, weather conditions, missing the bus departure time, etc..  The Cancellation Insurance does not provide coverage for MEDICAL ISSUES or INJURY during the trip, nor does it provide TRIP INTERRUPTION INSURANCE.  It is purely a Trip Cancellation Policy for students that need to cancel in advance of the trip departure date.


Individual Refunds for non-medical related issues:  The refund & cancellation policy for non-medical reasons is as follows (i.e. removal from the trip for poor behavior or disciplinary reasons, lack of interest, weather conditions, missing the bus departure time)

​• 45 days to 15 days prior to departure = 50% refund of total trip cost

​• less than 15 days prior to departure = no refund


Equipment Rentals: Please add $102 (skis or snowboard to your 2nd payment if you require equipment rentals.

Rental Equipment: Students are responsible for their rental equipment. Lost or stolen rental equipment will cost the student $600 (snowboard) or $550 (skis). Students are not to leave their equipment unattended at any time.
