Text message alerts/updates
The 2027 Rod Roy WhatsApp Channels will be created and shared in December 2026.
We will be using a WhatsApp Channel to send real-time updates about your ski program — including weather alerts, cancellations, delays, and bus return times.
To make sure you don’t miss anything:
- Download WhatsApp on your phone if you haven’t already.
- Join the channel for your specific bus or program (link provided).
- Unmute the channel: tap the bell icon in the top-right corner after joining so you receive all notifications.
- Keep notifications enabled on your phone for WhatsApp (iPhone: Settings → Notifications → WhatsApp; Android: Settings → Apps → WhatsApp → Notifications).
Staying connected ensures you receive time-sensitive updates throughout the season.
The links for the WhatsApp channels will be shared closer to the start of the season. For returning members, please note that we will not be re-using last year's WhatsApp channels. There will be new channels created for this season.
