Mont Sainte-Anne and Le Massif are two of the premier winter destinations in Eastern North America - with abundant snowfall, amazing views and terrain for all levels of skiers and riders.
Students interested in attending must choose between the Alpine Ski Trip or the Winter Activity Trip. Details for each trip can be found in the respective trip itineraries and information boxes below.
Students attending the West Island College Alpine Ski & Winter Activty Trip will be staying at Chalets Montmorency Condos, situated less than 1 km from the base of Mont Sainte-Anne. There is a limited amount of space and applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
All students must wear helmets while skiing, riding, or participating in the luge activity.
The trip includes:
- Deluxe coach bus transportation to/from MONTREAL, plus transfers between the condos and Mont Sainte-Anne/Le Massif
- Accommodations for two nights (10-12 per condo)
- Two meals (lunch at Le Massif 29/01 and a Sugar Shack supper at Le Relais des Pins on Île d'Orléans on 29/01)
- Lift tickets (for Alpine Ski package): 2 days at Mont Sainte-Anne and 1 day at Le Massif
- Access (for Winter Activity package) to: Tubing & Rafting at Village Vacances Valcartier, luge and snowcat ride at Le Massif, snowshoeing at Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix, and tobogganing & hot chocolate in Vieux Québec
- Services of a Ski Evolution guide
- All taxes

11h30 Walk up to Les Terrasses Dufferin’s in front of Château Frontenac. Toboggan & Hot Chocolate at Au 1884 (on boardwalk, behind Château Frontenac). Students are then free to explore Vieux Québec and find lunch at their own expense.

Lodging
CHALETS MONTMORENCY: a unique experience with beautiful views of the Mont-Sainte-Anne and the surrounding countryside, as well as a relaxing indoor pool and whirlpool. Inside the condos, you will find a spacious dining/living area with cozy fireplace, modern kitchen including dishwasher, microwave and utensils. Each unit accommodates 10 persons (4-bedroom condo) or 12 persons (5-bedroom condo). Free Wi-Fi.
Situated 0.5 km from the base of the mountain. Shuttle service offered.
Transportation by deluxe coach bus
Amenities included: washroom, TV-DVD, comfortable seats and large luggage compartments. Relax and enjoy the ride to the slopes!

Luge at Le Massif de Charlevoix

Discover sledding from a new perspective. Racing down the face of Mount Liguori at full speed on our 7.5 km track is an exhilarating experience. The scenery is spectacular and the turns are tight! Fully guided activity, helmets mandatory.

In winter, the magical forest and the glistening river views will enchant you. The beauty of the landscapes offered by the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix in winter has won the hearts of many hikers!
Tubing & Rafting at
Village Vacances Valcartier
(Winter Activity Trip only)
Have a great time snow tubing and rafting - sliding down the steep 'Himalaya' at top speed and experiencing the Tornado, a one-of-a-kind slide unique to Village Vacances Valcartier.
Cost and Payment
PACKAGE COST PER STUDENT: $ 590.00
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: An initial deposit cheque of $300.00 as well as the signed permission slip must be delivered to the school reception or
Mr. Fequet by Friday, November 15, 2024. The balance amount will be confirmed to students in mid-November and this amount will be due by November 25, 2024. Please pay by CHEQUES ONLY payable to Ski Evolution Inc. Please write the name of the student and WIC-MSA-2025 on the front of the cheques in the memo field. A $15 service charge will apply to any non-valid cheque returned by our financial institution.
Refund: There is a minimum $300 penalty on all refunds. There is no refund for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the departure date.
Equipment Rentals: If you require equipment rentals, please add to your 1st payment (ski or snowboard equipment can be rented for $105 for 3 days). Helmets are compulsory for all students (they can be rented for $27 for 3 days).
All students will be required to sign and respect a Behavioral Contract. Any unacceptable behavior will result in a telephone call home informing you that your son/daughter will be sent home at your expense. There will be no refunds issued under these circumstances. I understand that you are acting as agents for the bus, ski centre, lodging provider and/or restaurant service, if provided, and hereby waive any claims of any nature whatsoever. While you will provide competent staff and all reasonable precautions will be taken to avoid injury or damage I fully accept that accidents may occur and, consequently, I hereby waive, renounce and release you and/or the staff from any and all liabilities of any nature whatsoever. Moreover, I hereby waive, renounce and release you from any claim with respect to loss or damage of property.
