Help & Resources: First Timer Tips
Pre-Season

The registration deadline is December 1st. Registrations will be accepted after this date only if there is room in the program.

If you would like to be on the same bus as a friend it is recommended that you both choose the same bus stop when registering. If there are a group of you who wish to be together please advise the office of all the names involved.

Have your equipment tuned up and and safety inspected by a reputable ski & snowboard shop prior to the season.

Payment may be made in full by cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard. Payment may be made in four equal installments by cheque only.

Winter Tips

Visit the Day 1 section of the website for advice and suggestions to prepare for your first day. Beginner skiers are encouraged to try their equipment following the RR video tutorials.

Verify the Bus & Class Lists page to check your bus number, class number, instructor's name, etc. Know your bus number prior to going to the bus stop. You will receive a bulletin by mail in December indicating your bus number and bus stop.

Always verify the Weekly Notices page on the website after 19h00 to confirm the status for the next day's outing. The destination will be confirmed and any cancellations due to poor weather will be announced. If a trip has to be canceled due to poor weather it will be added to the end of the schedule. An eight week program could take up to 10 weeks to complete.

Organize your equipment the night prior to your outing.

Bring a lunch and a few dollars if you wish to purchase a snack in the cafeteria. The buses are open for 30 minutes at lunch.
