Three new tree-skiing trails have been added to the trail map. Sugarbush has put $28 million into lift and snowmaking expansion. An incredibly powerful state of the art snowmaking system, which begins with a 63-million gallon snowmaking pond, includes a new distribution system and ends on the mountain with "Sugarbush Snow." As for lifts, Sugarbush will have the most high-speed detachable quads in the eastern United States. A total of seven new lifts, including four high-speed detachable quads, brings the lift total to 18.
